“Good Vibes Only” Is Not Always What You Think

There are times that I read something where someone says, “Good vibes only.” And I think it’s unlikely and unrealistic to me. Thinking like that is also unhealthy. This is why:

In reality, nothing exist solely in the space of “good vibes” or “pure light”. Secondly, to cling on to that idea isn’t only unreasonable, it generates an impossible illusion, which eventually contributes to heartbreak and a sense of imbalance. It causes you to be deceived because “good vibes only” mean that you abandon the truth of your own soul – when not only good vibes are present, but all sorts of vibes are there.

“Spiritual bypassing” arises when you pretend to be somewhere you’re not in order to avoid being where you are. The discovery of the soul is nothing more frustrating than pretending to wear masks or putting yourself in an unrealistic fantasy – to meet the expectations the universe has set for you. This leads to heartbreaks because, not one really can live up to the standard, while staying true to themselves.

Truth: without darkness there is no light in life. That’s true in all reality on Earth and even in the spiritual realm. It often covers everything that is considered spiritual or conscious. It is only by addressing the dark that we consciously evolve or come into a place of healing or love or ascension — which is what we do not see. Our blind spots also contain pain , fear, incomprehension, alienation or extreme grief. Addressing the dark is what makes it divine. It’s alright to feel like something is heavy or dark … it reflects the reality. Reality can be painful and grim. If you choose to believe otherwise, it is not authentic to your experience.

Approaching the darkness and keeping space for the dark and to look at the darkness is how you become who you are meant to be. Saying that you have no darkness is to choosing to keep the blinders on. Pretending that you can’t see deeper truths in and around you is not dark at all. This will keep you sleeping while you remain filled with the voice of the universe, which will never represent your own voice.

For example, if you feel depressed, but you think you should be zen all the time — so instead, you do not properly acknowledge where you are or you communicate with the truth in you or with the things you are told through your current experience, which produce something untrue. It means wearing a mask, and other people take it up. This shows you feelings of discomfort when they are around you. This is just to show you how difficult it is for you to go deeper into your reality rather than being uncomfortable with your mask.

The explanation for this is that we are frequently consumed with the “high vibe” thoughts and “this is how to be successful” messages with languages that explicitly or implicitly suggest that “dark is evil,” which can all be understood if we speak only “love and positivity”. You can eventually intervene this voice as you consume these messages, thinking that it is your voice — which doesn’t let your true voice come through. That’s exactly what divides you from your reality even more. It is a blockade through which your soul cannot reach you.

It involves taking up the belief that you “must do or achieve something by a certain age” or that “success is like this” and “you’re a failure if …” All these statements prevent you from knowing your own reality about your life, which has only been written for you. Not every story look and feel the same.

People do not fully understand how it actually wrecks a soul to adhere to all these messages. Messages that discourage an authentic way of addressing yourself or your feelings and in your experience is what keeps the voice of your soul quiet. It keeps you divided. And that’s what makes us feel so horribly painful and empty.

A society where perfection replaces the real path and creation of the Self appears in the modern age spirituality. Don’t buy into this society. It’s not true or sound. And anything that isn’t real … isn’t divine.

My soul’s message to you is:

Carry on.

You have your truth, and you just have to find it. That is how loved you are. You love SO immensely that something totally divine, beyond time and space, has given you a special gift which was made for you only — that you can only feel, hold, collect and see. And it’s something you can share one day and feel totally grateful for if you want it. This journey is worthy of you. You always have been.

I hate it when I’m having a bad day and colleagues would come up and say, don’t be sad. If I follow that advice, then I would be betraying my own self by portraying a picture of me that is not me in the moment. It would mean, that I am choosing to deny myself of expressing my authentic emotions. I love this post, thank you for sharing Ellia. People need to be aware that life is ups and downs, it’s just natural ❤️

Thank you for acknowledging your feelings. 🤗I agree with you, people need to be more acknowledging when it comes to what they feel and at the same time moving forward with gratitude for the lessons on those experiences. It is bound to happen, we are bound to feel such emotions and thoughts because it will contribute to our being which makes us who we are now and who we will be in the future.
